An ophthalmoscope is an optical device allowing examination of the fundus through the pupillary opening.

The PanOptic ophthalmoscope uses the innovative, patented Axial PointSource Optics technology, thanks to which the examination of the fundus is much more efficient. The system of lenses and mirrors ensures the alignment of the light beam with the axis of vision of the doctor, increasing the examination area.

Mode of action

a. The light beam is focused within the patient's cornea, allowing the examination to be performed even with small and undilated pupils
b. The light beam then expands to illuminate a much wider area of the retina under examination
c. Aligning the axis of illumination and the doctor's vision allows for the widest possible examination field
